The latest Bollywood film is out and it's receiving rave reviews. Jab Harry Met Sejal was released on Christmas day, has an all-star cast of actors, and was filmed in Cambodia. It's the story of two main characters who meet unexpectedly in an airport lounge, then spend about fifty minutes on screen making each other almost die of laughter before they realize that they're perfect for each other. Despite some long shot interactions, Jab Harry Met Sejal is more than worth the watch. You won't regret it. The story chronicles the somewhat awkward meeting of Aditi (Kunal Kapoor) and Harry Cheng (Ali Fazal). Both are on holiday in Mumbai from Canada, where Harry met a woman who quickly left him for a more stable life with a child. Since then, Harry's been staying on her couch, smoking weed and watching the world go by on TV after she goes to sleep. When Aditi accidentally crashes into him, instead of apologizing for her mistake she strives to make amends. In doing so she becomes friends with Harry too who tells her about his failed relationship, struggles with joblessness and anxiety about his relationship with his girlfriend. The movie shifts from present tense to past at a few points in the film, and this is when the story moves from being funny to being heartwarming, especially after Harry confesses his feelings to Aditi. The film initially had three songs "Song 1" written by Kumaar; "Song 2" written by Pritam Chakraborty; and "Bheja de Chhapa", composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. But Ali Fazal requested for "Annu Re", composed by A. R. Rahman; which was released as the first single of the movie on 3 January 2017. Later the second single titled "Dhadaam Dhadaam" was released on 10 January 2017. The film features cameo appearances by Sonakshi Sinha, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Jim Sarbh, Kumud Mishra and Piyush Mishra. Jab Harry Met Sejal also received mixed to positive reviews from critics around the globe. Many critics praised the chemistry between Kunal Kapoor and Ali Fazal but criticized their character development. Sandeep Patil of Firstpost praised the film giving it 4 out of 5 stars quoting "Jab Harry Met Sejal is a simple story told with ease, filled with big laughs and moments that make you go 'awww'". Saibal Chaterjee of NDTV Movies gave the film 3.5 out of 5 stars stating that "..it's a reminder that what remains in your heart after you exit a multiplex, is more important than what was up on the big screen." The film had a good opening collecting 4.50 cr on its first day, which considering it is a holiday was considered an average start.. On the second day, it collected 6.05 cr and on the third day 6.50 cr taking its first weekend to 17.20 cr which was ok considering it had 25% occupancy over its opening weekend. On Tuesday i.e 2nd Dec 2017, considering it is another holiday i. 8eeb4e9f32 48
